I took Scenic Beautiful purple, yellow and red Rain Storm Sunrise in The Desert With Dramatic Clouds Fine Art Photograph while on a camping trip to Lone Pine camp ground in California. I got up one early morning thinking I would get a shot of the sun touching the mountain peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Mount Whitney. What I got instead was this magnificent storm cloudscape shot looking over the Inyo Mountains. It had been raining and the thunderstorm was moving across the mountain tops, leaving the yellow and orange sunrise rays on both sides of the thunderstorm. The lighting was incredible, leaving a red cast to the desert sand and sagebrush. I was lucky to be in the at the right place at the right time to capture natures outdoors powerful, dramatic sunrise.
