This “Black Stallion Wild Mustang Horse New Mexico Galloping On The Open Range Aquitanian Black And White Fine Art Nature Print photo was taken on the open range of the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. My brother was taking me out to see some historic indian ruins as we came upon several small herds of wild horses grazing in the open range under the beautiful blue sky, white clouds with the low mountains in the background. To watch these proud magnificent wild animals as they grazed on the spring grass and with a small wind blowing through their main was a very moving moment. To have the opportunity to be among these wild animals on the land of the Navajo Indian Reservation was an honor. The stallion, the mare pinto horse and the brown and black mustang horses I got to photograph that day is an experience I will never for get.

Jerry Cowart - My journey with photography is an ongoing and ever-evolving process. I am challenged to slow down each and every day in this busy world and to stop and admire all the beauty by which I am surrounded. What I have discovered is to enjoy the moment, to love the sound of the shutter as it goes off and be lost in the joy of that one perfect moment and be able to capture it in my camera. For that one magic moment, and in the blink of an eye it will be gone, I see the perfection and beauty in a world that is not always kind and loving as I would want it to be.

My photography is about seeing and experiencing the beauty all around me and hoping it will move the viewer in a way they feel what I felt in that moment, in that once in a lifetime moment that has now been caught in the beauty of a print for all to see. As
