Title: Elephant Ocean Beach Rock With Blue Sky
I took this Elephant Ocean Beach Rock With Blue Sky original fine art photograph at El Capatain, Zuma Beach in Southern California. My cousin and I wanted to take some seascape photography and we decided that Zuma Beach had what we were looking for. I call the this shot Golden Elephant Rock, because the rock formation looks a like an elephant with his trunk and his right front leg going into the ocean. The sun was at the right angle to give the elephant a golden look. I wanted to create a mood I felt at the time, so I set my settings on my camera so I could capture that felling and mood. The water is in slow motion as the elephant goes into the water.

What an interesting rock formation. I practically grew up at Zuma Beach, but must have been more interested in the swingsets and ocean. Don't remember seeing this elephant, but so glad you captured it. Beautiful work, done with obvious forethought. I enjoyed your description too, Jerry. v
