Title: Taking Off On A Jet Plane Looking Out The Window
I took this photo out the window of a commercial airliner as we were taxing to take off from Los Angeles International airport. It was at night and the tarmac was busy with activity, but this United Airlines jet stood out among all that was going on. The lights were perfect in highlighting the United Airlines jet. I started snapping away looking through the window and caught this shot. Taking a photo through the window of a plane that is taxing at night is not always easy. This shot came out really good. The other 10 moving shots I took while we were taxing didnt have the feeling of this one. I feel really good about this shot.
Jerry Cowart - My journey with photography is an ongoing and ever-evolving process. I am challenged to slow down each and every day in this busy world and to stop and admire all the beauty by which I am surrounded. What I have discovered is to enjoy the moment, to love the sound of the shutter as it goes off and be lost in the joy of that one perfect moment and be able to capture it in my camera. For that one magic moment, and in the blink of an eye it will be gone, I see the perfection and beauty in a world that is not always kind and loving as I would want it to be. My photography is about seeing and experiencing the beauty all around me and hoping it will move the viewer in a way they feel what I felt in that moment, in that once in a lifetime moment that has now been caught in the beauty of a print for all to see.
It is my intention through my original fine art photography to share the beauty and perfection I see with those that view my work. I hope you enjoy my work and thank you for taking the time to view it. I invite you to look through my varied galleries of photographic prints and hope you enjoy them as much as I did when I was moved to take these photographs.
I hope you find just the right photograph as you look through my work that would make a perfect gift for a home or office. All my photo prints, note cards, posters and cell phone covers are priced to be competitive and make wonderful personal gifts for all occasions.

Beautiful. For a photo taken through a usually dirt window it's very crisp and sharp. v
