This photo was taken at the train station before my train ride from Durango Silverton Colorado on the Narrow Gauge coal burning, steam-powered locomotive number 478. The trip winds through spectacular, breathtaking canyons in the remote wilderness of the two million acre San Juan National Forest along side Animas River Canyon.

Jerry Cowart - My journey with photography is an ongoing and ever-evolving process. My photography is about seeing and experiencing the beauty all around me and hoping it will move the viewer in a way they feel what I felt in that moment, in that once in a lifetime moment that has now been caught in the beauty of a print for all to see.
