Title: Velvet Purple And White Iris

I took this beautiful spring Velvet Purple And White Iris closeup photograph at The Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks, California. The flower was in full bloom and sun light enriched the purple color of the bloom. It was a perfect day to be shooting outdoors using using no tripod. Most all my floral shots are hand held photography.

Gardens of the World is in Thousand Oaks, California. The Gardens are about hour and half out side Los Angeles. The gardens are well-manicured and maintained. All sorts of garden inspired by different countries are there. My favorites were the Japanese one and the English. I like their koi pond and tea house, it is a beautiful setting. The rose gardens are spectacular.
