Title: Colorful Twinkling Christmas Star
I wanted to experiment with taking abstract photos for the Christmas holidays and for making Christmas cards, so I walked around our neighborhood until I found the right subject matter. Bright colorful Christmas tree lights twinkling. I love the holiday season and it felt like winter as I took my gloves off so I could make the right settings on my camera. I expected Santa Claus and his slay to fly overhead as I was setting up for this shot.
This kind of abstract photography is a hit or miss kind of photography. I took 50 photos before I got the one I liked. The way it works is you hold camera shutter open for a spit second and move the camera up or down, right or left really quickly and then see what happens with your shot.
