Title: Golden Yellow Poppy Photography
I took this photograph at The Gardens of the World in Thousand Oaks, California. The sun light and shadow on the poppy is so soft delicate I couldn't pass up this shot. It spoke to me soon as I saw it It was a perfect day to be shooting outdoors using no tripod. Most all my floral shots are hand held photography.
Gardens of the World is in Thousand Oaks, California. The Gardens are about hour and half out side Los Angeles. The gardens are well-manicured and maintained. All sorts of garden inspired by different countries are there. My favorites were the Japanese one and the English. I like their koi pond and tea house, it is a beautiful setting. The rose gardens are spectacular.
