I took this photograph at The Los Angeles National Cemetery in California; the National Cemetery
dates back to 1889.
I went there one beautiful Sunday afternoon wanting to take photos of the American flag as it was blowing in the wind. As I was walking the grounds and paying my respects to the to those men and women who served our country proudly and are no longer with us I was moved to take this photo in honor of those men and women. Each Memorial Day all of the grave sites have an individual American flag posted beside them; it is a very moving and respectful sight to behold.
With due respect and as a Vietnam veteran it is my privilege to donate 50% of the proceeds from this photograph to Veterans, Inc., an organization that serves veterans and their families across America.
