Old Wooden Water Wheel and Bridge
Old Wooden Water Wheel and Bridge with green trees fine art landscape photography
This Wooden Water Wheel and Bridge with green trees fine art landscape photograph was taken in the spring at the scenic Philipsburg 300 year old Manor House with old wooden water wheel in Sleepy Hollow, New York. The water from the beautiful river along the banks of the Manor House is what was used for the mill.
Philipsburg Manor was a thriving farming, milling, and trading center in the 1750s owned by the Philipses, a family of Anglo-Dutch merchants. They rent land to tenant farmers of diverse European backgrounds and rely on a community of 23 enslaved Africans to operate the complex.
This photo was taken with Canon Mark II with a Canon 28-135 lens
